Minority Outreach Project


African-Americans and Hispanic/Latinos have traditionally been underserved in the disability community.  The Arc of Indiana's Minority Outreach Project (MOP) works to:
  • Connect African-Americans and Latino/Hispanics who have disabilities to information, programs and services
    that can lead to a better life.    
  • Distribute information on available services to churches, organizations and agencies in African-American and Latino/Hispanic communites. 
  • Provide networking and mentoring opportunities to minorities working in the disability field.
  • Encourage minorities to consider a career in the disability field.
