Minority Outreach Project
African-Americans and Hispanic/Latinos have traditionally been underserved in the disability community. The Arc of Indiana's Minority Outreach Project (MOP) works to:
- Connect African-Americans and Latino/Hispanics who have disabilities to information, programs and services
that can lead to a better life.
- Distribute information on available services to churches, organizations and agencies in African-American and Latino/Hispanic communites.
- Provide networking and mentoring opportunities to minorities working in the disability field.
- Encourage minorities to consider a career in the disability field.
