The Northwest Indiana Symposium is an annual gathering of professionals, advocates, caregivers and volunteers who have an interest in learning more about representing, serving and caring for decisionally challenged and at-risk seniors and adults with disabilities and mental illness.
The program brings together national, state and local experts to present plenary sessions and workshops on current topics and issues related to providing a continuum of services and merges the opportunity for learning, networking and personal development into one event.
The Symposium is co-sponsored by state and local organizations and agencies that support the development of quality guardianship services and is funded in part by the generous support of the Indiana FSSA Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services.
The 2009 NWI Symposium will be held on Friday, October 30 in Merrillville at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza. For more information, please email the organizers of the symposium.
