Psychiatric Consultation Services provided short-term psychiatric servicesfor children and adults with developmental disabilities who have extreme or challenging behavior or emotional issues; do not have a psychiatrist and may be in jeopardy, or have a psychiatrist who would like a consultation.

DDRS is gathering input from FSSA's Division of Mental Health and Addiction and Dual Diagnosis Task Force to develop a long term comprehensive strategy for providing crisis management services. More information will be made available prior to July 1, 2010.
