The State House is located in Downtown Indianapolis, 200 W. Washington Street, on the block surrounded by Washington, Senate, Ohio, and Capitol Streets.

Parking is available at the Circle Center Mall Parking Garage, the Hilton at Illinois and Market, the Hyatt Regency, the Embassy Suites (parking garage access on Washington and on Capitol), and the State Museum on West Washington Street.  If you park at the White River State Park Parking Garage, you can cross West Street, enter the State Office Building, and walk through a tunnel to the State House.

The White River State Park garage has 8 feet of clearance.  The garage for the building at 101 W. Ohio has high ceilings  (8 feet or more) as well.

For other possibilities look at the parking section of the Downtown Indianapolis web site: http://www.indydt.com/parkingdatabase.html to find contact information of nearby facilities.
The clearances aren't shown, but phone numbers are listed so you call for information.

The only accessible entrance to the State House is on the west side, Senate Street, entrance.  Those who need an accessible entrance may want to drop people off at that entrance and then park.  You can access Senate Street  from Ohio; or, you can go north on West Street, and turn east on Government Place -- which runs between the two state office buildings and ends at the Senate Street entrance to the State House.
