Indiana is seeking approval from the federal government through a state plan amendment to move to what is known as “Order of Selection” in determining who can receive VR services. Under this process, individuals determined to have the most significant disabilities will be served first.
Listen in as Michelle talks with Kylee Hope, Director of Indiana’s Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services, and Bureau of Rehabilitation Services Director, Theresa Koleszar about the “Order of Selection” proposal.
Public hearings will be held in Indianapolis, South Bend and Evansville on April 24, along with a call in option on April 25, for the public to provide comments regarding Indiana’s Bureau of Rehabilitation Services proposal to implement “Order of Selection” in providing vocational rehabilitation (VR) services. Comments will be accepted until 4 p.m. (EST), April 25, 2017.
