Thanks to a generous grant from The MolinaCares Accord and Molina Healthcare of Indiana, The Arc of Indiana is excited to announce the continuation of our flagship program, The Arc Advocacy Leadership Network (ALN), now in its 3rd iteration, as well as a new program dedicated to wellness. These programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are designed to build confidence, strengthen self-advocacy, and support more connected lives. Each program offers a unique track that aims to enhance independence, well-being, and community engagement. You can participate in one or both of these programs if you meet the criteria below.

The Advocacy Leadership Network is open to adults with IDD who live in Indiana. Participants in the Advocacy Leadership Network will learn about self-advocacy, effective storytelling, governance, and more through 11 1-hour virtual sessions taking place each month starting on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026.

New Opportunity!

Empowering Health is open to adults with IDD and direct support professionals (DSPs) who live in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. Empowering Health meets all participants where they are in their health journey. The program supports a holistic health approach at the physical, mental, and emotional levels. Participants will learn how to set health goals that are accessible and achievable. This program will consist of 8 virtual 1 hour sessions each month beginning on Tuesday October, 13th, 2026.
