Monroe County Community Transition Fair-VIRTUAL
Just when families finally feel comfortable navigating all the different systems their children are involved with, it’s time to transition to adulthood. In this presentation, The Arc Advocacy Network will discuss programs, resources, and opportunities available in the adult world and help families learn how to navigate this new landscape. We will provide an overview of planning for the future, employment, post-secondary education options, waivers, Social Security, guardianship and alternatives, Selective Service, and voting.
