Food Assistance Resources
Americans who receive benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will not receive their SNAP benefits on Nov. 1 due to the government shutdown. If the shutdown continues into November, people who receive food assistance through the Special Supplement Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) — may not receive those benefits.
If you need to apply for SNAP or WIC benefits, it is still important to apply!
