Beyond Guardianship: Transitioning to SDM and Self-Determination

The Arc Advocacy Network will discuss guardianship, alternatives to guardianship, and Supported Decision Making to help families understand their options in this area. Supported Decision Making is a concept and tool gaining popularity as an alternative to guardianship or to use in conjunction with guardianship. As Indiana has adopted new Supported Decision Making legislation, The Arc Advocacy Network will explain Supported Decision Making and explain the implications of the new legislation.
