Health Insurance Coverage for Autism and Mental Health Services

Autism Community Connection has invited Michele Trivedi from Teh Arc of Indiana’s Insurance Advocacy Resource Center to talk about health coverage for autism and mental health services.  This webinar will talk about what caregivers need to know about private insurance, Medicaid, adult services and where to get help. Along with learning more about Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) revised policy regarding medical necessity requirements for augmentative and alternative communications (AAC) devises. The IHCP reimburses for an AAC device, with prior authorization (PA), if a medical doctor or a doctor of osteopathy orders the device in writing.
