Ask The Arc – Know Your Educational Rights (Webinar)

Families can sometimes feel frustrated because they want their children with disabilities to get a quality education, but they are not sure how to make that happen. In this webinar, we will talk about how to determine what your child needs and wants in an education. We will talk about effective ways to communicate with the school to get the supports your child needs. We will also talk about your rights to a Free and Appropriate Public Education, including some recent guidance from the US Department of Education about behaviors and discipline for students with disabilities.
