The Importance of Local and State-Wide Advocacy Leadership Networks

The Arc of Indiana is pleased to partner with the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) to create a state-wide Advocacy Leadership Network. This presentation will include panelists from The Arc of Indiana who will discuss the importance of building local and state-wide advocacy leadership networks. The Arc of Indiana is currently training 12 self-advocates in leadership and Charting the LifeCourse principles. The self-advocates will be the foundation of a broader network of self-advocate leaders who will then train and mentor other participants to support self-advocacy opportunities across the State of Indiana.
